Dr.
Don Gold
Dr. Donald L. Gold, O.D. has been in private practice in Columbus,
GA since 1965. His speciality has been in satisfying the visual
& optical needs of tens of thousands of patients.
Dr. Gold’s undergraduate work was completed at Union College in
Crandon, N.J., then his graduate work was completed in 1955 at
Pennsylvania State College of Optometry in Philadelphia, P.A.
with a degree in optometry.
In December 1955, Dr. Gold joined the U.S. Army, and was in active
duty until December 1957. In January 1958 until December 1964
he was on active duty reserves. |

Dr.
William White
William J. White, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist with
extensive experience in no-stitch, no-needle, cataract surgery,
as well as corneal transplants, glaucoma surgery, plastic and
reconstructive eye lid surgery, refractive surgery (LASIK). and
crossed eyes. He is also experienced in using lasers to treat
glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears and retinal strokes.
Dr. White received a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from
Michigan State University before graduating from Albert Einstein
College of Medicine in NYC with his MD degree. He then completed
his surgical internship at the University of Miami and Bascom
Palmer Eye Institute. He completed his residency training
in ophthalmology at the University of Florida in Gainesville,
Florida.
Dr. White is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology,
and the National Board of Medical Examiners, and is a fellow of
the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American
Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Christian
Ophthalmology Society. Dr. White and his wife Lynn are parents
to four sons and are active with their church activities. Dr.
White has gone on several medical mission trips. He enjoys playing
the trumpet and stretching. The Whites live in Columbus, Georgia. |

Dr.
Valerie Allen
Dr. Valerie Allen is a native of Vancouver, Washington. She has
been practicing optometry since 2000. She received a Bachelor
of Arts degree in 1996 from the University of Notre Dame. She
attended the Indiana University School of Optometry where she
received her doctorate. After practicing for a year, she returned
to Indiana University to complete a residency in Ocular Disease.
She has spent time both as a research optometrist, assisting in
macular degeneration and ocular histoplasmosis treatment trials
at the Indiana University School of Medicine, and as a primary
care optometrist.
She enjoys exercising, playing the piano, spending time with her
daughters Sydney and Hanna, and her husband, Antino, who is an
officer in the U.S. Army. |
